Last few days of December

The last days of December were spent in Eupora. Sunday night we had a little surprise on our back porch: a opossum. Yeah. So, it got between our door and the deep freeze. The cats made sure he didn't get away. Our back door is a glass door, so we could see him through the glass the whole time. He was not happy! The funniest thing is we let the dogs outside to go potty. Mattie and Bear ran back there to see if they could scare him. Dixon got one look at him and ran right back into my arms! Ha ha! It was sooo sweet. We called my uncle Jimmy to get rid of the rodent. Here's a pick of the opossum hunter:

We also had a Welcome Home reception for Miss Rodeo America Kelli Jackson. She's the first one to win from Mississippi or even east of the Mississippi River for that matter. She has a Eupora address so we lay claim to her! Ha ha.
