Friday night I headed to Jackson for the Dixie National and the Mississippi Cattlemen's Convention. The plan was to go to the annual Taste of Beef, where area restaurants (including my dad's) sample a taste of their beef. But, thanks to the snow in south MS, it was canceled :(. So, I did a little shopping :). It was great, because there were no crowds whatsoever. I guess they were scared of the bad weather.
Saturday, Cheyenne, Mama, and I went to the Cattlemen's Scholarship Banquet, where Chey got a big check!
