Wednesday afternoon, my first cousin Nicholas passed away almost two months after his mother. Even though Nicholas has spent his whole life sick, it does not make burying a seven year old child any easier. Keep his family in your prayers, especially his father and brother, Robert and Dean. Two months ago they had four people in their family; now, it's just the two of them. Luckily, they have an extremely large extended family. Many of their family members live within a five mile radius. My grandmother is having a hard time even though she knows that Nicholas is no longer in any pain. I think everyone now realizes why Fran was taken so unexpectedly: she could not have made it if she lost Nicholas.
Please keep his family in your prayers over the holidays.
