Bachelorette Trip to Birmingham!

Saturday morning after the shower, all the girls loaded up to head out to Birmingham for some fun! We did a little shopping, went to the spa, and then headed to the best hotel, the Tutwiler! We got ready and headed out to dinner (for which I had made TWO reservations). The hotel was great to drive us in their shuttle to dinner. We get there at 5 til 9, and I tried to open the doors. THEY WERE LOCKED. Yeah, not cool. So, the owner opens up and says, "I just closed, but I'll let y'all come in." Funny thing is, the hours on the door said they stayed open until 10....

Anyway, he said they didn't have our reservations, but we did eat there. It was wonderful! Good ole Southern cooking! We were about to get our checks, when the owner stuck his head out into the room and said, "Girls, are y'all from the Tutwiler." Well, yes. "They were calling to check on you guys, wanted to see if y'all needed a ride." Talk about awesome!! So, they came and picked us up and took us to a swanky joint called the Wine Loft. We stayed there for the rest of the night, just hanging out.

The next morning (on little sleep thanks to the time change, among other reasons), we headed to the zoo! It was so fun to just hang out with the girls that weekend.

Thanks to my mom for helping me cook and clean for the shower and my dad for loaning us his suburban to take on the trip.
