Today was our first full day in Puerto Rico. We left Mimi's house bright and early yesterday morning and headed to the airport. Since Henderson's name had been input incorrectly to his ticket, I wanted to get there in plenty of time to make sure everything would work out. We ended up getting at the airport at 4, only to find out that the ticket counters don't open until 4:30. :/ Fortunately, changing his name on the ticket was not as difficult as we first thought and we were on the plane in no time!
After checking in, Henderson, Cheyenne, and I changed clothes and headed to grab dinner downstairs in the hotel/casino. We then took a nice stroll on the beach and decided to head to bed early since we'd been up so long!
This morning, we met the groom and my dad for breakfast! It was great seeing John again and I'm glad we had that moment to chat with him before all of the chaos of wedding weekend! Henderson, Cheyenne, and I then had to throw our swim suits on and head to the beach! It was absolutely beautiful, especially since it was so cold at home!
We didn't stay at the beach too long, because we had other plans: Old San Juan!

We did a little shopping,

and a little touring. This is actually the church that John and Priscilla got married in.
Then, we met up with Van, Jr. and his family to shop and eat some more!

Cheyenne, Abbey, and Macey

We ended up at a nice restaurant and had a great meal!
We are so excited to be here with our family and even though tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we won't be having any turkey, we are so thankful for this amazing vacation in a tropical paradise!
